A key competition law development in Lithuania in 2020: <\/em><\/strong>The most significant competition law development this year has been the final segment in the joint bidding case that started with the Competition Council\u2019s infringement decision back in 2017<\/a>. In June 2020, the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania confirmed<\/a> the authority\u2019s decision to impose a fine of EUR 3.7 million to Active Construction Management UAB and EUR 8.5 million to AB Panev\u0117\u017eio statybos trestas, and in October the same Court rejected one of the appellants\u2019 attempt to renew the procedure. Some say, joint bidding by competitors in the construction sector will never be the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
